GASOMETER IM [BE]

Exploration #37. This gasometer was in service at the former ‘Centrale Électrique de Monceau-sur-Sambre’, also known as ‘Power Plant IM’ in Charleroi, the largest coal-fired power station in Belgium and now abandoned. It was able to store 25.000 m3 of gas. The colors inside the structure were absolute stunning. Maybe they was due to some materials left by the gas? The gasometer was demolished in 2023.
