Romania (testo italiano a fondo pagina). The Rovinari power station is a 1,320-megawatt (MW) coal (lignite) fired power station in Romania. It is one of the largest electricity producers in Romania, having 4 groups of 330 MW each thus totaling an installed capacity of 1,320 MW. The four units were constructed between 1976 and 1979 and are considered to be the most efficient, low cost electricity generators in the country. In 2014 new FGD with Wet Booster Fans and Pennguard lined concrete chimneys were added to limit the emissions.
Romania. La centrale di Rovinari è una centrale a carbone (lignite) da 1.320 megawatt (MW) in Romania. È uno dei più grandi produttori di elettricità in Romania, avendo 4 gruppi di 330 MW ciascuno. Le quattro unità sono state costruite tra il 1976 e il 1979 e sono considerate i generatori di elettricità più efficienti e a basso costo del paese. Nel 2014 sono stati aggiunti nuovi FGD con Wet Booster Fans e camini di cemento rivestiti di Pennguard per limitare le emissioni.
